A good match (poem by Florin Caragiu, English translation: Corina Gina Papouis)

I look at you and I say: we are so different
so that we convince each other we are not alone.

things admit to this

they survive the tired tools
only to show off the liveliness
of mustard.

they are so different from us
so that we know we are not alone,
under the rain of strikes,
as long as our body
withholds us crucified on a love
mesmerizing deserters.

is enough to come to a halt in front of each other
and worlds overlap.

human beings are counted twice
and accept the game of matching themselves,
as they are breathable earth
and ask for a crumble of glory

(poem published in the volume "Sentic", Vinea Publishing House, Bucharest, 2009, p. 16. English translation: Corina Gina Papouis)
